Little Angel

I am a little angel
sent from God above
I came to earth from Heaven
as a precious gift from God.
I was not perfect
as anyone could see
but like a mother
you loved and took care of me.
I was only with you for a short time
I know I made you smile
but I was like a flower
and only bloomed for a short while.
You are a special person
that is why I came for you
God knew when I came to earth
I would need someone like you.
I am healthy now
I can run and play like the rest
I know when I was with you
you loved and gave me your best.
Heaven is a beautiful place
if only you could see
when you think of me smile
I am as happy as can be.
I know you will always miss me
but please don't cry
just picture me in Heaven
at my home in the sky.
